Bentor, the son of Bencomo, leaded the battle to combat Castilian conquerors in the lands of Victoria de Acentejo municipality, which is known as the second great Guanche defeat. After that, he decided to hide with his fellow Guanches in the higher areas of Tigaiga mountain range. He would commit suicide in 1496 by jumping off the hill.
