This sculpture is an homage to the deeply rooted viticultural tradition of Los Realejos and especially of La Cruz Santa

This neighbourhood of Los Realejos is known as the white wine cathedral of the Canaries. In the vineyards of the area, which belong to the Orotava Valley designation, a special form of vine training is used that implies manual work from pruning through harvest and makes the wines a prime crafted product. It is called the multiply braided strand and has been used for centuries, giving the wine its singular characteristics
