The lonely Canary Pine of “Montaña de los Frailes”

This Canary Island Pine stand on the lower slopes of the “Montaña de los Fariles”, a protected natural reserve declared natural monument.

Standing on the southern slope is has an inclination at its base. This is an example of adaptation.
