The road that connects Realejo Alto and Icod El Alto receives its name from this great specimen of Canary Island Pine.
This Canary Island Pine is a large, centenarian specimen which is visible from every point on the road.
There used to be a second specimen next to this one. Equally large and centenarian, these two trees were known as the “Twin Pines”.
