THE HERMITAGES

In the current territory of Los Realejos in the following years after the conquest a number of hermitages and chapels start to be built, but with the passing of the years and the successive constructions stages, they turn into temples of large extensions which become parishes. Nevertheless, those raised in the country estates by their owners take a public headline. The best samples of that heritage upon the hermitages situated in the lower grounds of the town, where the main country manors of the Village are placed.
