Hermitages of Saint Ildefonso and Our Lady of Lourdes

In the area of El Jardín we have got two samples of this interesting religious architectural pattern raised inside the walls of the respective manor countries. The former is the hermitage of Saint Ildefonso, in the lands of the “Country Estate of the Gardens of Castro” or so – called “Las Canales”. It is about construction of the XIX century with interesting sculpture pieces inside it.

The other hermitage, built in the 20s of the last century, is devoted to the Virgin of Lourdes, with an eclectic shape. It was guarded by its owners, the Poggio family.
