Hermitage of St Vincent Martyr

The construction of this hermitage is related to the manorship of Juan de Gordejuela, Governor of the island of Tenerife, and because of the miracle undertaken by that saint when he was able to stop the effect of the Landres plague which destroyed the island in the beginning of the XVII century. The architectural pattern of the spot was made according to the popular religious architecture style, which is common in the islands. In the headline it is maintained the altarpiece devoted to the Christian martyr whose characteristics are samples of the XVIII century artistic tendencies, with floral scenery. The image of a polychromatic wooden shape belongs to a previous stage.
