It is the most important area as regards art in Los Realejos, thus it keeps over 70% of its unit, something that has posed it for the consideration of Real Estate of Cultural Interest “Bien de Interés Cultural” (B.I.C.). Its origin is caused by the establishment of the Country Estate of Los Príncipes and the Distribution of lands and sites, made by the Governor, for the township of the settlers who would work their grounds with sugar canes plantations. The central part of this area is formed by the church of Our Lady of Conception, from there a number of roads characterised by their pronounced slopes, which allow us to look at the whole architectural compendium and its development. Across them dwellings of the XVII – XX centuries are raised, very often of two floors. One of the most outstanding is the parish house, from the XVII century with contributions from the XVIII and XIX centuries. It was built in the current road of El Cantillo de Abajo and counts on a lovely balcony with a main front and a tough gallery, which stands over upright “tea” wood feet. From the same age the house of “doña Alfonsina”, in Márquez road, of a plain front with wooden gaps. In the roads of Mister Guillermo Camacho y Pérez Galdós, La Acequia and La Alhóndiga, peculiar architectural samples of the XVIII and XIX centuries rise, without lacking the Modernist, Eclectic and Historicism contributions. Taking part of the overall country estate of Los Príncipes are the buildings of La Parra Baja and La Parra Alta, already established in the urban area of El Realejo Bajo, which go back to the XVIII century. As a sample of the most recent architectural pattern is the quiosco of the Church Square which follow the instituted patterns for this type of construction. It was raised about the 20s of the last century.
